Hey everyone, today I’m going to introduce the awesome First4Figures to our readers. With the Saitama from One Punch Man 1/4 Scale statue as the focus!
First a little about First4Figures: They produce awesome gaming statues (ranging from Zelda to more off-beat games) and have recently started creating statues based on anime licenses based on fan requests! Check out their Facebook page & website! The F4F collectors group is a great place where all sorts of requests and recommendations are made, I have never seen a statue company that listens to its fans as much as F4F do! This maker creates massive 1/4 scale statues and more recently 1/1 busts generally in limited editions (which is the way we all love it of course)!
From the anime series One Punch Man – about a super hero who is too strong and tends to finish fights with one punch and finds it increasingly boring - comes the main character Saitama! The action/comedy anime has been ever growing in popularity and if you haven’t seen it, I fully recommend it!
F4F have created a 24-inch tall statue of Saitama in an aggressive attack pose.
There are two versions, one normal version & the exclusive version which comes with an alternative ‘vacant’ expression which is much easier to appreciate having seen the anime!
The attention to detail on this piece is staggering. Considering the simple character design, the pose is very well thought out and balanced, allowing Saitama’s left foot to almost float off the base. Which brings me to the base, one of my favourite things about pieces from F4F and this one in particular is the way the base really brings the piece to life. The crumbling road as the mega powerful Saitama prepares for his punch, really emphasizes the overall impact created by this piece! Great payment plans are available on First4Figures which make these pieces more affordable, especially for the scale and what you get for what you pay. These lines do tend to sell out and subsequently increase in value, so I do recommend picking one up asap if you do not want to miss out! I myself did manage to pick up the exclusive version, so you can rest assured that I will be creating a video unboxing review just for Go Figure News when I receive him!
