Ladies and gents of all sizes and stripes, meet Yuan Kong starring in War In The West - Time Wars Pt. I by the collaborative team: Winson Creation x Gate Toys. Designed by artful toymaker Winson Ma, we are honored to have the first opportunity to show you the prototype of a figure due for release later in the third quarter this year. Have a look at our full video review where we review this set which includes a full and smoothly articulated 1:6 Scale action figure(we had to edit this portion from the video as it was lengthy - but believe me!) and incredible diorama base.
If you missed our earlier preview we shared the companies original promo shots, but this was our turn to take on the essence of this time warrior. The figure comes with many accessories including his yin/yang metallic mask, several weapons that have been inscribed, finished in metallic tones, bonus monkey hands with intensely detailed palm features and Time Gloves. Oh, and his absolutely perfect "metal" mask that perfectly fits the fanciful and lifelike face underneath. Sit back and click as seeing is believing:
What Else Is Inside?: This figure is from another universe. The costumery alone is a marvel to handle, with much mixed media from leather-like materials, inventive stitchery, faux fur in both the incredible headsculpt and upper body, and built-in magnets to easily attach the proper weaponry. The finishes on the swords, knife/handles and "Dragon" Machine Gun are superbly outfitted to resemble real metals - oh, and that incredible Flame Blade! The gun has working parts like a magazine that pulls out as well as a sliding barrel. The weighty diorama/base is just above and beyond anything similar I've ever seen on the market, it masterfully blends soft and hard materials to resemble the slain Steel Ox. Painted in brushed, worn metallic hues that have been worked up to the nth degree, and sculpted, overall, in prime style. It comes complete with a bendy figure stand/holder. I've included many stills and video above as well!
