Thailand is home to an abundance of talented independent toy designers, Trirat Pattanaamponchai who is also known by the moniker Gang Of Monster. He's designed a kaiju-esque monkey with a fondness for Muay Thai boxing. These resin figures are designed in 6" and 8" and all hand designed and painted. The line know as Monkey Fight.
Monkey fighters wear such fighting attire as boxing gloves, arm bands and shorts. Their bodies are covered in hair, muscle, the face is very monster like having 4 eyes, 2 noses, and a mouthful of teeth. The figures have zero articulation, who knows maybe in later lines their arms may be molded in a fighting stance (one can dream).
All monkey fight figures are original and sport different paint jobs, other notables like tattoos and blood. The high point of these figure has to be the originality of the paint jobs, if you buy one you know it's going to be one of one since all the painting differs so widely from each other.
Gang of Monster also has new lines of fighters to join in the fight with such figures as Sharkfight (available soon in 6" and 8" in lines) and a mutated Kaiju type monkey feature , I for one hope they get into the fight real soon.
