GOTTA GETTA KOZIK: Here we have the Yamakichi exclusive of Lil Alex and Dim figures in the 'Evil Mum' Edition from Frank Kozik's fantastic "A Clockwork Carrot" series. These 11 1/2" (approx) sofubi soft vinyl figures, produced by BlackBook Toy, are sold individually and both come with codpieces and clear red mask accessories. They eerily refer to Stanley Kubrick's masterstroke, A Clockwork Orange (1970), with its 'ultraviolent' futuristic view of society. There have been a smattering of colorways for these figures, though this may be the most enthralling in terms of actual detailed application of paint, very colorful and menacing with the contrast of bright white jumpsuit to eye-popping red detailing on the suspenders, buttons and codpiece. Though we also loved the Bait Edition (w/bonus 'internal' accessory), now Sold Out. I am especially impressed by the bucktoothed Dim in this colorway as he looks like a truly evil doofus, wielding chain and knife - take a deeeeeeper look, it's all in the eyes. These run for about $130. Go Get 'Em.
