MEET VINCENT: This is as if my deepest dreams were realized in sofubi form. What's more Instinctoy, Japanese maker of distinction (not extinction) has raised the bar higher than ever here. How you ask? They have taken the form of a horny Tyrannosaurus Rex and turned the ferocity into a cotton candy dream by creating a figure that looks as though it's a cross between candy coating and autopaint! It's so sumptious in every single way. Slightly bejewelled (not spelled bling fellas) with a sensitive fusion of soft gradated pastels, making his serated jawful of teeth into a curious colorful smile! It's oddly giving me a craving for M+M's in these fanciful tones.
VINCENT 9th COLOR [Pastel Rainbow (G.I.D)]: If all that weren't enough, this guy glows-in-the-dark. Oh, and he doesn't just glow the old fashioned way - it's a gorgeous cerulean blue! It's amazing how the base coating doesn't in any way reveal itself until the lights go down. The ninth edition is by far the most impressive. This review could be one elongated row of exclamation marks to be quite frank as it hits me there. Only thing is there are only twenty of these left (75 pieces were made in total) before they are, well, extinct. And he's only available via lottery thru 12/18. They have others up on lottery as well (like Groman's colorful King Korpse) but this was the drool-worthy standout and you can get lots more info here. He's over eleven inches tall and comes bagged as so.....If you win this lottery we want to befriend you for life, and ever after.
