SO SOFUBI: Here we've been given a golden (and pink, and purple...) opportunity to review our very first figure from talented maker Guumon (aka Brian Mahony) with special courtesy from Tenacious Toys for whom they were made to vend as an exclusive to the recent New York Comic Con. Mind you only five of these multicolor kaijus existing on Planet Earth and if color were a virtue we'd be destined for heaven with this tucked under our wings. Make sure to check out the offer they made in case this makes your eyes pop.
The artist shared: "Bangagon is a mix of a cat a walrus and a samurai. the little figure that come with him is a clam named "dirtybit" they have a symbiotic relationship, they live in a cave on the seaside of Japan, during the day Bangagon throws Dirtybit like a boomerang as a weapon... when dirtybit is spinning in the air he spits toxic clam juice on the enemy then returns to Bangagon's hand...At night Bangagon sleeps in the cave, while dirtybit watches out for enemies at the cave entrance...."
MADE IN JAPAN: I'm excited to have guessed it was a clam! In our video review we mention a special offer TT extended on this special piece. Whether you are warding off the evil spirits or just wanting to brighten your run, this will turn up the heat several notches. Here's our ten minute review:
OOZES THE RAINBOW: Standing 8.5" tall this soft vinyl piece boasts prismatic metallic sprays that are unmistakably fused by way of a daring, creative palette and dynamic sculpt. This is a jaw-dropper and to show you a few additional angles here I drop some glamshots for your perusal:
